April showers bring May flowers” is a popular saying when the month of April arrives.   Recently the amount of rain we have been getting has been pretty amazing and frustrating.  So many of us are ready for the warm sunny days to come.  I’ve read that the word ”April” comes from the Latin word “aperire” which means “to open” and after all, April is the month where everything seems to open up and life starts to grow once again!   Happy Easter and celebrate your special life!

４月の雨は５月の花をもたらす。（苦は楽の種）という諺を私たちアメリカ人は思いつく時期になりました。最近結構不安定なお天気続き…少しばかり驚き、そして少しばかりうんざりしてしまいますね。早くうららかな春の陽気にならないかなぁ～。以前「４月　April」という言葉の語源はラテン語で「aperire　開く」という意味なんだそうです。確かに４月はすべてが開放され、また新しい命が再び息づきはじめる月ですものね。
