This charming little restaurant is located in an area you normally wouldn’t visit, tucked away from downtown Iwakuni’s busy streets. It’s small and comfortable with a cafe/bar atmosphere and a super-friendly staff. Their unique seasonal menu has a good selection with something for everyone to enjoy. Their set menu is terrific and flexible with several choices. We, Lisa and I, had a full set lunch – with all the works! Why not – we were celebrating! O susume – I recommend it this place!

Konichiwa Scott,
Thank you for your comment and welcome to Iwakuni! Sorry the map didn’t work out, but I’m glad you found it. You’re right, it’s a little pricey so I should mention that.
I’ll be adding a lot more content to the website in the coming months, so please check back and be sure to tell your friends!

Thanks again for writing and I hope you are enjoying Iwakuni. Ja mata! (See you) Jackie
Jackie,
I am new to the area and Japan and I was lucky enough to find your site. I went to one of the restaurants that you recommended last night called Primavera. The food was good but a little pricey for dinner; 6,090 Yen for 2 with one glass of wine each and no deserts. It was interesting ordering because I do not speak any Japanese, but my friend was a local and translated for me.
I will try more of your recommendations soon. Please provide more recommendations for good places to eat in the Iwakuni Area.
Nice blog and great photos..very yummy!
