Campagne means “countryside” or “rural area” in French, but this favorite restaurant captures the tastes and flavors of Italy (with a taste of Japan), right here in Iwakuni.
The selection is wonderful and there’s a varitey of dishes to choose from. All their ingredients are super fresh, including my favorite baked Sea Bass! Chef Hidaka-san prepares his dishes with creativity and pride by adding just the right touches to any meal; and his entire team focuses on professionalism, ambience and quality service. Also, check out their lunch menu specials, great price and so good!
Join me and my great friend Yuri as we celebrate her birthday at this warm and friendly place!

That’s one of my favorite restaurant, too. I like it’s atmosphere and the reasonable price. The risotto was amazing!
Happy birthday, Yuri.
How fun! Your video makes me REALLY miss Japan because the restaurants are so fabulous and the staff always makes the dining experience so fun. I’d love to go to Campagne when I come back. I’m putting that on my list. Hats off to the videographer as well. Nice job!
Peace,

This was one of our favorites! They were always out of risotto when we went, I always wanted to try it. Looked awesome!
Oh Jackie! I miss Campangne so much. That was our favorite restaurant.
Miss the risotto! Wow, that was pretty impressive with the parm cheese and how it was made.
Miss you!
Hello! Thanks for writing!
Yes, it’s pretty impressive. I never saw a block of cheese that big and used for that purpose. Chef Hidaka san only shares that risotto “treat” with special people (he says) and only for very important events.
Hi Jackie!
Just finished watching the “Cucina italiana Campagne” video. What an unbelievable risotto presentation!
